7-Day Blood Pressure Log — How It Works

This free Blood Pressure Log lets you record morning, afternoon, and evening readings for a full week, then download a professionally formatted PDF report to share with your doctor or keep for your records. No account or sign-up required — your data is saved automatically in your browser and never leaves your device.

The log works on all devices and browsers worldwide. On desktop you see the full weekly table at a glance. On mobile each day expands into a card layout sized for easy tap entry. Either way, your readings sync automatically so the trend chart and PDF always reflect what you have entered.

Why Track Blood Pressure for a Full Week?

A single reading can be misleading. Blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day based on activity, stress, caffeine, medication timing, and even the time of year. Most clinical guidelines recommend home monitoring over multiple days to give your doctor an accurate picture of your typical levels. A 7-day log covering three readings per day gives 21 data points — far more useful than a single clinic measurement.

Understanding Your Readings

Blood pressure is expressed as two numbers: systolic (the pressure when your heart beats) over diastolic (the pressure between beats). A reading of 120/80 mmHg is considered normal. Readings consistently above 130/80 indicate Stage 1 hypertension and should be discussed with your doctor. Readings above 180/120 are a hypertensive crisis requiring immediate medical attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private? +
Yes. All data is stored exclusively in your browser’s localStorage. Nothing is transmitted to any server. World Utility Hub has no access to your readings. Clearing your browser storage or using a different browser will erase the saved data.
What does the trend chart show? +
The chart shows your daily average systolic (red line) and diastolic (blue line) readings across the week. Each point is colour coded green, yellow, orange, or red based on AHA hypertension categories. Reference lines at 120 and 140 mmHg help you quickly see where your averages fall relative to clinical thresholds.
Can I track more than one week? +
Download your PDF at the end of each week before using the Clear / Start New Week button. The PDF saves your complete 7-day log and trend chart permanently. You can repeat this each week to build a longer history to share with your healthcare provider.
What time of day should I take readings? +
Most guidelines recommend measuring in the morning before taking any medication and before eating or drinking coffee, again in the afternoon, and once more in the evening. Consistency matters more than the exact time — try to measure at roughly the same times each day.
Does this replace medical advice? +
No. This log is an informational tracking tool only. Always consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider about your blood pressure results, any symptoms you experience, or decisions about medication. If your readings consistently exceed 140/90 or you experience symptoms such as severe headache, chest pain, or shortness of breath, seek medical attention promptly.
